On this page
  1. Build the request into completion
  2. Use reviews beside relevant evidence

A review helps a stranger evaluate an experience they cannot yet see. The useful habit is a consistent, neutral request after genuine customer interactions, at an appropriate point in the service.

Thank you for choosing us for [work]. If you would like to share an honest review of your experience, here is the link: [link]. Your feedback helps other customers understand the service. There is no obligation.

Do not ask only customers you expect to praise you. Do not offer discounts, free extras or payment for reviews. Do not write the review for them or tell them which keywords to include. Google's policy prohibits incentives and selective solicitation of positive reviews. [P03]

Build the request into completion

Give one person responsibility for sending the request. Record that it was sent so another colleague does not ask again the next day. A brief reminder may be reasonable where appropriate; repeated pressure is not a reputation strategy.

Respond to feedback calmly. Thank positive reviewers without publishing private job details. If criticism is legitimate, acknowledge the specific issue and explain how to contact you to resolve it. Avoid arguing about the customer's character. Readers are evaluating how you behave when something goes wrong.

Use reviews beside relevant evidence

A review about communication supports a page explaining how you manage a renovation. A review about punctuality may reassure someone arranging a time-sensitive service. Keep the customer's meaning intact, obtain permission where needed for reuse and identify the original source accurately.

Reviews do not replace a clear offer or a working contact path. A business with excellent ratings can still lose inquiries if nobody knows what it does or how to reach it.

Your output: a review link, a neutral request and a completion reminder assigned to a person. Track requests operationally, but do not impose a public-review quota on staff or pressure customers to submit while standing beside you. The goal is credible feedback collected over time.
